Who Are We?
This 28 week course prepares the student to implement excellent infection control and sharps injury prevention protocols, obtain diagnostic quality dental radiographic images, provide thorough moisture control, and to manipulate and apply most commonly used dental materials.
What Do You Leave With?
Upon successful completion of the program, Alternative Dental Assisting Training students will be prepared to take the Missouri Test of Basic Dental Assisting Skills Exam. Successful completion of the exam, qualifies students to take Missouri Dental Board approved Expanded Functions Courses to become an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA).
Who Will Teach Me?
Our instructors have a combined total of more than 55 years assisting in a clinical setting. They have more than 15 years of formal dental assisting instructional experience and are Certified Dental Assistants (CDA) with Missouri Expanded Functions.
